THIS IS ME
I’m Alex and I’m a multi-award-winning photographer, husband to an amazing wife, and father to a beautiful daughter. Currently living in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, I photograph weddings all over the UK and anywhere in the world (still waiting for that Caribbean destination wedding though).
I’ve been doing this for several years now but I still feel incredibly fortunate that I get to take photographs full time for a living, and I absolutely love shooting documentary wedding & family photography. This isn’t a job to me, it’s a passion!
And when I’m not working or spending time with the family I’m either out doing street photography, watching cheesy action films or listening to very heavy music.
My style of wedding photography is laid back, relaxed, and influenced by my love of street photography. Some might say I shoot in a documentary or photojournalism style, others might call it natural observational photography. Personally, I like to think of it as stress free wedding photography.
But whatever you want to call it, for me it’s all about telling your amazing wedding story through photography. By blending in with the guests (well, as much as a 6ft 6″ bearded tree can) and being as ‘hands-off’ and unobtrusive as possible, my goal is to capture those real and genuine moments. All the laughter, love, joy, and fun shared by you and your guests throughout the day.
And because we won’t spend hours doing group and couple shots, you can spend much more of your time enjoying the day with your friends and family, relaxed knowing I’m capturing it all.
A FEW RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

When it comes to equipment I am a huge fan of the Sony Alpha system and have been shooting solely with their cameras and lenses for the last couple of years now. The Sony cameras are fantastic and their size and performance suit my style of wedding photography perfectly.
I am also honoured to have been given the opportunity to work with Sony UK as one of their Alpha Creators. This includes delivering talks and presentations for Sony at photographic events and conventions all over the UK about my approach to wedding photography.
As well as giving talks for Sony UK I have also had the opportunity to speak several times at the annual The Photography Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
