Andreas & Rosemary's documentary wedding in Nottinghamshire
This weekend I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wonderful wedding of Andreas & Rosemary at the stunning Grade II listed Bridgford Hall Registration Office in Nottinghamshire.
The weather was just perfect for early September and the sun shone on the wedding all day. The grounds of the hall looked glorious bathed in this autumnal sun.
After an emotional and intimate family ceremony, the wedding party moved on to the elegant World Service Restaurant in Nottingham’s city centre for drinks and a sit down meal.
Just before the speeches, Andreas nipped off quickly and embraced his Bavarian heritage by returning for his speech in traditional lederhosen. And as the evening guests arrived the newly weds got ready for more celebrations with friends and family.
I had actually met Rosemary a few years earlier and also photographed a special family event for her several months prior so it was a real honour to also be asked to capture her special day.
A fantastic day as you’ll see from a selection of their photographs below.
